This final episode of this celebrity edition of the popular reality show was uploaded in error by international broadcasters before its planned UK airing on Thursday night, according to a network statement.
It is understood that the final was viewed by a small number of subscribers of the streaming service the streaming service in the North American country; they were able to watch it for a short period until it was taken down.
The installment being released was not a error by the producing network, and a representative for the company asked those who believe they know the outcome of the series to "avoid sharing potential spoilers".
"We urge those who thinks they know the outcome of the celebrity edition to hold any information they have to themselves," the statement said.
"We ask you to refrain from posting potential spoilers so that the vast audience who have been faithfully following every twist and turn of the series can enjoy the final this night."
This celebrity version is presently the top-rated TV show of the year, with an mean of 12.6 million viewers across the first four episodes.
